PPA sketch challenge

It has been quite a week ... emotional and exciting.  We took the children to their respective colleges this past weekend.  It was hard saying good-bye to them, especially Michael since this is his freshman year.  They both are really excited so that has helped me adjust to the new normal.  The good news ... I will be making lots of masculine cards now.

Now onto to the Pals Paper Arts sketch challenge.  Hope you can find some time this week to get sketchy.  It's another gem by fellow Pal Margaret Moody ...
Ppa107

I looked at this layout and knew it was perfect for a ... masculine card!  So what do you think?

Stamps:  Funky Four
Paper:  Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip, Cajun Craze, More Mustard, Always Artichoke, Night of Navy, White
DSP:  Crumb Cake
Ink:  SU markers ... Cajun Craze, More Mustard, Always Artichoke, Night of Navy
Accessories:  Regal brads, stripe embossing folder, photo corner punch (retired), dimensionals
All products are Stampin' Up!

  • A More Mustard brad was added to the mushroom to cover the flower.
  • Each mushroom is raised up with dimensionals.
  • This definitely would qualify as a clean and simple card.
As always, thanks for stopping by and making my day brighter.

Have a great day,
Pam~

YES....I love it! Those little mushrooms are just so cute!!! CUTE! CUTE!....did I say CUTE!!
It is sad to see the kids leave Pam, but get prepared for the next round.....They'll be back just when you've gotten adjusted to having them gone.

LOVE it, that's one of my favorite whimsical stamps! Lots of stamping helps keep those runaway emotions in check, too....I know from experience!

These little mushrooms are adorable! Love your card! It is hard when the kids are gone but I hear there's a trip in the works to keep your mind off things :) Have fun!

Pam what a great card! LOVE those little mushrooms in the bright colors... so darn cute. I have set and it's diffinitely under used! It does make a great masculine card! Bet you're storing up on "Miss You" cards right about now. Hope the college 'move ins' go smoothly. Hugs.

Pam,
Such a great card! Love the colors and arrangement. It provides so much inspiration for other potential stamps. Going in my CASE file.... :-)

Super card...is he going to go to the mailbox to get it? LOL I remember what he said. I guess you'll have to spend a lot of time in the craft room until you get used to the idea that they're both away. I find it helps to keep my mind off missing my boys. Your card is great!

Nice color combo for a masculine card. The photo corners remind me of a slice of watermelon.

Nicely done! Thank goodness there were four different mushrooms! LOL Like how you matted the pics with the same color!
