I finished making all my Christmas cards, so today I played with the gals at Freshly Made Sketches. The talented Jennifer Timko created this week's sketch ...
Just love the simplicity of their sketches and this is what I did with it ...
Stamps: Snow Much Fun (Gina K.)
Paper: Vanilla, Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler (SU)
DSP: Jolly Holiday (SU)
Ink: Memento Black
Accessories: Nestabilities square and lacy dies, Bic Markers, Copic marker, Marvy snowflake punch, Sakura glitter pen, SU Old Olive ribbon and rhinestone
- I tried to capture the sparkle on the snowflake and it looks gawdy here. Looks much better in person.
- Since I tied my bow first, I added the snowflake on the other side, switching up the sketch a bit.
- The card size is 4 1/4 by 4 1/4 ... still fitting into an A2 envelope.
- This card is already in the mail to UAB wishing Bethany well on her finals.
While taking pictures, my sweet pups were wandering around so I had to snap some photos of them. Michael was holding some cookies and they wanted them. Otherwise, I would never have gotten them to sit together. Sadie always runs whenever I pull out the camera.
Banjee and Sadie
Thanks for stopping by and ...
Have a great day,
Pam~

Love that adorable little snowman! The blue you used just makes him pop right off the card. I miss that DSP - it was one of my favorites. What a great way to wish her well on her finals!!
Pam! What a great card, love that adorable little snowman and your coloring. The Copics really do add such a great level of detail. And your dogs are just precious!

Adorable card, Pam! I LOVE these colors! And what a pair of furbabies!
Oh gosh, Pam...love this snowman card. Have you ever heard me say I love snowmen? Ha They are all so fat, fluffy, and adorable. Love the papers...glad I still have some of it left.
Your dogs are adorable. I know that look..seen it before. They stop dead still and look as if they are saying, "when is he going to give me one of those cookies? How long must I wait?" :-)
Wow! Great job with the sketch. Love those DSPs, too! Thanks for playing with Freshly Made Sketches this week!
Adorable card Pam. The designer paper with the circles is a fun pattern. Both Banjee and Sadie look wonderful. I was thinking of you on Thanksgiving when they showed the Whippet on the Purina Dog Show.
I love what you have done with the sketch! Such great papers and that snowman is so sweet! So glad you joined us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!
Pam, SO cute! I miss you!!
CUTE as a button! I love everything about this card! I'd be right there with your gorgeous pups too for a cookie!!!!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Love how you used four different patterned papers for this sketch and how they coordinated.
Forgot to say how cute your babies are.
All of your cards are absolutely wonderful- but what I am really amazed about is that you are a whippet loving crafter! I have never met another person who has referenced their whippets online before, outside of a specific dog/whippet site! Sadie and Banjee are adorable!
