Being a Friend ...

This card was for the MOJO challenge this week.  After I colored the doilie, I didn't want to add the square layer and cover part of it.  Also, I didn't think it looked good.  So I stamped my sentiment directly on the DSP and classified this card as complete.

Stamps:  Delicate Doilies, Happy Greetings
Paper:  Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral, Wisteria Wonder, White
DSP:  Daffodil Delight
Ink:  Black, SU Markers ... Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral, Wisteria Wonder, Baja Breeze
Accessories:  Cuttlebug circle & dots embossing folder, Nestabilities circle & lacey circles, ribbon (non SU), pearls, Bic marker, scallop border punch, clear emobssing powder, dimensionals, color coach
All products are SU unless otherwise noted.

I'm off to play some golf today with my husband and children.  A family outing before everyone scatters in different directions ... Bethany to start nursing school at UAB and Michael to start experiencing the college life at Auburn.

Thanks for stopping by ... very much appreciated!  Have a great day!

Delicate Doilies

Today I'm showing off one of the new stamp sets, Delicate Doilies, that will be available July 1st in the catalog.  I'm not a doilies kind of person, but just had to get my hands on this set.  So glad I did ... it's gorgeous and fun to play with ... so many ideas!

Stamps:  Delicate Doilies
Paper:  Early Expresso, Sahara Sand, Vanilla, Cajun Craze
DSP:  Sahara Sand, Cajun Craze
Ink:  Cajun Craze, Versamark
Accessories:  embossing tool, clear embossing powder, rhinestones, Early Expresso ribbon, stamp-a-ma-jig, ticket punch
All products are Stampin' Up!
  • This is a 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 card base.
  • The doily was stamped in Cajun Craze and then stamped over in Versamark, sprinkled with embossing powder and heated.
  • This is a CASE from Beate at Splitcoast.  I was looking at my cards that I have put in my favorite folder and saw this one from 2007.  To see her card, click here.
  • I used a different stamp, different shades of paper, and a much simpler version.
Have a great day,
Pam~
