Playing with stickers ...

I love going into craft stores and browsing along all the aisles.  Of course, when there is a sale, something always jumps into my buggy.  I have a basket full of stickers ... never know I just might get into scrapbooking ... so I thought I would try and make a card using some of them since I don't see scrapbooking in the horizon.  So here is my card with no stamping ...

This was actually for the PPA challenge -- Puttin' on the Ritz.  The card was ...

  • made on time
  • picture taken on time
  • uploaded LATE
I'm singing Meatloaf's song ... Two Out of Three Ain't Bad.

My crafting time is dwindling to nonexistence with Christmas right around the corner.  If I don't get back on here before the holidays, I want to wish all my blogging friends a very Merry Christmas!  Be safe and enjoy it all!

Thanks for stopping by and ...

Have a great day,
Pam~

Freshly Made Sketch ...

I finished making all my Christmas cards, so today I played with the gals at Freshly Made Sketches.  The talented Jennifer Timko created this week's sketch ...
Just love the simplicity of their sketches and this is what I did with it ...

Stamps:  Snow Much Fun (Gina K.)
Paper:  Vanilla, Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler (SU)
DSP:  Jolly Holiday (SU)
Ink:  Memento Black
Accessories:  Nestabilities square and lacy dies, Bic Markers, Copic marker, Marvy snowflake punch, Sakura glitter pen, SU Old Olive ribbon and rhinestone
  • I tried to capture the sparkle on the snowflake and it looks gawdy here.  Looks much better in person.
  • Since I tied my bow first, I added the snowflake on the other side, switching up the sketch a bit.
  • The card size is 4 1/4 by 4 1/4 ... still fitting into an A2 envelope.
  • This card is already in the mail to UAB wishing Bethany well on her finals.
While taking pictures, my sweet pups were wandering around so I had to snap some photos of them.  Michael was holding some cookies and they wanted them.  Otherwise, I would never have gotten them to sit together.  Sadie always runs whenever I pull out the camera.

Artistic Etchings ...

Wow, it has been a while since I've posted anything.  I've been busy like the rest of you.  Getting ready for Christmas, shopping and making Christmas cards.  I should finish those up today ... hopefully!

Today I'm posting a card that I got my inspiration from one of my fellow blogging friends, rhondastamps.  To see Rhonda's card, click here.

Stamps:  Artistic Etchings
Paper:  Creamy Caramel, Vanilla
DP:  Paper Studio
Ink:  Creamy Caramel, Crumb Cake
Accessories:  rhinestones, pewter embossing powder, shiny silver ribbon (non SU), Nestabilities die, sponge dauber, spritzer
All products are Stampin' Up unless otherwise noted.

I left this simple to show off the Eiffel Tower and let the designer paper do the rest of the work.

Thanks for stopping by and ...

Have a great day!
