Patriotic Cocoa

I had some extra time to play in my craft room since my hubby is out-of-town on business.  I needed another 4th of July card so I checked out Tuesday Morning Sketches to see what their sketch was.  With this simple and fun layout ...

I came up with this ...

Stamps:  Patriotic Cocoa (Sweet and Sassy), Basic Backgrounds (SU)
Paper:  Ballet Blue, Real Red, White (SU)
Ink:  Ballet Blue, Real Red (SU), Memento Black
Accessories:  Copics, circle dies (Spellbinders), polka dot embossing folder (CB), pop dots, word window punch, large oval punch (SU)

Thanks for stopping by and as always ...

Have a great day,
Pam~

A MOJO birthday

This card has gone postal to my sister-in-law for her birthday.  My inspiration came from this week's MOJO sketch ... go square or round.

Stamps:  Feel The Sun (Verve)
Paper:  White, Perfect Plum, Black (SU)
DP:  Bold Basics (Recollections)
Ink:  Memento Black
Accessories:  circle and leaf die (Spellbinders), glimmer brad, pop dots (SU), ribbon (H.L.)

Here the inspiration photo from MOJO Monday ...

There are lots of layers on this card.  The flower was stamped twice and the center was cut out of the second one and layered with pop dots.  The sentiment was also raised up to add just a bit more dimension.

Thanks for stopping by and as always ...

Have a great day,
Pam~

A roar of a birthday ...

I needed a masculine birthday card for my brother so I headed over to Tuesday Morning Sketches to see what they had this week.  I thought this was a great sketch to go with ...

From that I made this ...

Stamps:  Zoo Review, Plane & Simple (SU)
Paper:  White, Gray
DP:  Bolds Basics (Recollections)
Ink:  Memento Black
Accessories:  circle dies (Spellbinders), Copics, word window punch, bitty banners die (SU), pop dots, eyelets, twine

I did leave out the scallop circle ... thought that might be a little much for my brother.  I added a bit of hardware and twine to give some depth.  This was a fast card to put together.

Thanks for stopping by and as always ...

Have a great day,
Pam~

Oops, I've lost some pictures on my blog by cleaning out my Picasa Album, which is getting syned with my phone and I HATE that! If I can find them again, I will repost them.  The blogging world and me = ugh!  I'm seriously thinking about only using Splitcoast and letting go of the blog.

Thanks for stopping by and as always ...

Have a great day,
Pam~
