Get well wishes ...

One of my dearest friend's husband has been having all kinds of back problems.  I'm hoping this little card will give him a bit of good cheer.

Stamps:  Cocoa's Get Well Wishes (Sweet 'n Sassy), Button, Button (SU)

Ink:  Memento Black
Accessories:  Copics, circle punch, polka dot embossing folder, pop dots (SU)

This was actually made for a challenge...think it was Tuesday Morning Sketches...but I never got it uploaded in time.  The good news, I did get it in the mail.

Masculine anniversary card

My anniversary is coming up next week and I needed a card for my wonderful husband.  I checked out the new MOJO sketch and thought it would be good for a masculine card.

The sketch ...

My anniversary card ...

Stamps:  Farm Life (GKD)
Paper:  River Rock, Cajun Craze, Early Espresso (SU)
DP:  Well Worn (SU)
Ink:  Memento Black, Tea Dye (Ranger)
Accessories:  Copics, brads, pop dots

I know it is not a very romantic card but it is perfect for my hubby.  The inside is stamped with the sentiment that comes with this set and reads ... "The most beautiful view is the one I share with you."

Thanks for stopping by and as always ...

Have a great day,

Shake your Booty ... for MOJO Monday

A great sketch over at MOJO Monday this week by Julee.  Thought I would pull out a Halloween stamp and have some fun with it.  This was my inspiration ...

This is my finished creation ...

Stamps:  Bootiful Occasions (SU)
Paper:  Pumpkin Pie, White, Black (SU)
DP:  Pumpkin Pie, Concord Crush (SU)
Ink:  Pumpkin Pie (SU), Memento Black
Accessories:  circle and oval dies (Spellbinders), sponge dauber, pop dots, pearls, banner die, polka dot embossing folder (SU), sharpie

I colored my pearls with a black sharpie to dress-up the boot and sentiment. Then added a little orange to tone down the white panels and this baby was finished.  The hardest part of this card was photographing and editing it. Can't seem to get it very sharp looking...hmm.

Thanks for stopping by and as always...

Have a great day,
