Hello Spring ...

This cold snowy weather has been good for stamping.  This card will be entered into this weeks Mod Squad Challenge...spring forward.

Stamps:  Just Believe, Hello Spring, Sweet Summer (SU)
Paper:  Garden Green, White (SU)
DP:  Birght & Basic (Recollections)
Ink:  freshly cut grass, sunflower (Lawn Fawn); black (Versafine)
Accessories:  twine, pearls (Michaels); Copics; wink of stella glitter pen (Zig); Scan n Cut (Brother); sponge dauber (SU)

I inked the flower image with a sponge dauber and think it turned out well.  Tried something new and will use this technique again.  It goes much quicker than a marker.

Thanks for stopping by and as always ...

Have a great day!

My anchor ...

It has been a snowy day, so after shoveling this morning, I stayed inside and made some cards for a few challenges.  This card is for two challenges.  I'm entering it into the Pals Paper Arts for the layout and Simon Says Stamps for Anything Goes featuring Lawn Fawn products.

Stamps:  Float My Boat (Lawn Fawn); Itty Bitty Backgrounds (SU)
Paper:  Crumb Cake, White (SU)
DP:  Bold Basics (Recollections)
Ink:  Mermaid, Cranberry (Lawn Fawn); Crumb Cake (SU); Versamark
Accessories:  clear embossing powder; eyelet; twine; edge distresser; oval die (Spellbinders)

To emboss my sentiment, I inked the saying in Versamark first and then into the mermaid ink.  I was pleased with the way this card turned out.  Always need some masculine cards on hand.

Here are some pics of the snow at my house.  It is so pretty!

Hoppy Easter

Hoping to get this into the Mod Squad Challenge before it closes.  Seems I'm always cutting it close.  The good news, I'm also entering this into Tuesday Morning Sketches which just went up today.

Stamps: Hoppy Easter (Verve)
Paper:  White, Baja Breeze (SU); Green (Recollections)
DP:  Bright and Basics (Recollections)
Ink:  black (Memento and Versafine)
Accessories:  clear embossing powder, pop dots; oval die (Spellbinders); Scan n Cut (Brother); wink of stella glitter pen (Zig)

Went for something a little different by making a square card.  This one measures 5 1/2 x 5 1/2.  The bow tie and flower are 3D.  First time I've done this before and I do like the look.

Thanks for stopping by and as always ...

Have a great day!

Benjamin Bunny

This card was supposed to be entered into the Tuesday Morning Sketch which closed at 7 p.m. tonight.  I got the card finished around 5 and went to show it to my hubby.  He was watching TV and I cuddled up next to him to tell him about the card.  To make a long story short, I fell asleep and missed the deadline.  Oh well, at least I got a nice head massage out of it and a cute card.

Stamps:  Benjamin Bunny (Sweet n Sassy)
Paper:  Marina Mist (SU); White (Hammermill)
DP:  Bright n Basics (Recollections)
Ink:  Early Espresso, Marina Mist (SU); onyx black (Versafine)
Accessories:  Copics; clear embossing powder; circle and label six dies (Spellbinders); sequins; glossy accents (Ranger); sponge dauber (SU)

Thanks for stopping by and as always ...

Have a great day!
