Wild Daffodil Melon ...

... the colors for The Paper Players challenge this week.  They look beautiful together and make for an awesome card.

I thought I would do something different for this card.  I randomly opened up the catalog and picked a stamp set that was on that page and started creating.  I knew I wanted to try a layout that I saw on one Gina K.'s video.  The inky fingers had a great time making this ...

Stamps:  Cottage Garden
Paper:  Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, Wild Wasabi, White
DSP:  Melon Mambo
Ink:  Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Wild Wasabi, Black
Accessories:  stamp-a-ma-jig, rhinestone brads, sponge, daffodil delight
All products are Stampin' Up!

Another simple card that is ready to be mailed.  I see so many gorgeous cards out there with wonderful flowers and embellishments and I always wonder how are they mailed?  The majority of my cards that are made, I put in A2 envelopes.  My question to all you great bloggers ... how do you mail your embellished masterpieces?

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.  I'm heading out to lunch and shopping with my best friend ... great start to the weekend!

Have a great day,
Pam~

Oh, it is so pretty and such awesome, cheerful colors, Pam! I love it. About the mailing, I just stick a piece of cardstock cut the size of the card in the envie over the card and have it hand stamped if there are gemstones, brads, etc. on the cards. Of course, they charge more at the P.O. to hand stamp but I don't want anything ruined.
Yes, I am enjoying our rain soooooo much. It is helping with the new areas of sod we had to put down. It had been so dry and I was having to water daily in those areas. Not good for the water bill.
Have a fun day with your friend!!!

What a great card, Pam. I love how you used this weeks colours and the brads are the perfect finishing touch for the flowers. I post all my cards that have raised embellishment in a padded envelop. It costs more in postage but I love adding raised textures so I pay it. Thanks so much for playing with The Paper Players this week!

Love it, Pam! The double row of ribbon and the sparkly brads are such great touches. Everything about your card says happy! I make quite a few "chunky" and if I end up mailing them (instead of hnd-delivering them) I usually use a padded envelope or add them to a bigger package. Thanks so much for joining us again this week at the Paper Players! Hugs! :)

Love the double row of ribbon and the rhinestones. I just pay extra to have it hand stamped or put it in a padded envelope if it is really embellished!
