PPA Color Challenge

It's Thursday so that means Pals Paper Arts challenge day!  This week the Design Team came up with a pretty color combo.

PPA 67 Celebrity Color Challenge Nov 4 2010
I made this card for my best friend who had to have shoulder surgery yesterday.  I know Leslie reads my blog, but I'm thinking (hoping) she is not up to checking her e-mail for a couple of days...at least until my card arrives.

Stamps:  Always in My Thoughs
Paper:  Daffodil Delight, Basic Gray, Poppy Parade
Ink:  Daffodil Delight, Basic Gray, Poppy Parade, Pear Pizzazz
Accessories:  Stampabilities ovals, Cuttlebug embossing folder, oval punches, rhinestones, blender pen, dimensionals
All products are SU! unless otherwise noted.

Yesterday I watched a video on Stamp TV with Gina K.  The video showed how to make a card using a raised frame. Looked like a fun technique so I had to try it.   I'm hoping from the picture below, that you can actually see what I'm describing as a raised frame.

This turned out to be fun and I'm sure I will make another card with a raised frame.  If you have any questions about Stampin' Up products or my cards, please don't hesitate to e-mail me.

Thanks for stopping by and I always enjoy reading your comments.  Have a great day!
