Hello ... Spring

It is that time again to have some fun with Gina K.'s challenges for the April guest design team.  Challenge number one ... use a technique from Gina's videos and make it feel like Spring.  Here is my take ...

Stamps:  Vertical Greetings & Things (GKD)
Paper:  Black, White
Ink:  Memento Black; Warm Lipstick, Broken China (T. Holtz)
Accessories:  Copics; wax paper; ribbon, pop dots (SU); swirl & textile embossing folder (CuttleBug)

I used Gina's video on using wax paper as your background.  For more details on how it works, check out the video here.  This was my first time to do this and I loved it.  Will definitely use it again.

Thanks for stopping by and as always ...

Have a great day!
Pam~

Oh, wow! Pam, this is beautiful. I'll have to use your link and read about the technique. You've used some gorgeous colors on this card. I love the flowers.

After the cold last night and today, my daffodils are hugging the ground. Yuck.

Such a beautiful card, Pam! Great coloring on the flower and the ribbon just finishes it off. Is the blue part the swirl folder and the pink the textile?

I had to come and ask another question about how you did the blue and pink panel. Did you run it through the cuttlebug in the folders after applying the wax paper and rubbing the ink over?
