Wildflower ....

I'm trying to squeak this card into the Freshly Made Sketches challenge this week before Mr. Linky closes at noon.  I'm also going to post it to The Paper Player challenge.  These are two of my favorite challenges to play along with. Here is my take on the two challenges ...

Stamps:  Feel the Sun - Verve
Paper:  Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze, watercolor (non SU)
DSP:  Greenhouse Gala
Ink:  Chocolate Chip, Memento Black, reinkers--Baja Breeze, Pear Pizzazz
Accessories:  aqua brush, Sakura glitter pen, dimensionals
All supplies are Stampin' Up unless otherwise noted.

I'm still practicing on that watercoloring.  I even went and bought an aqua brush to try something different.  I still need to practice, practice, practice.

I cut the flower and leaves out separately and adhered the flower on with dimensionals.  I hope my sentiment speaks louder than my flower so that it fits into The Paper Players challenge.  :)

Thanks for stopping by and as always ...

Have a great day,
Pam~

OOh, the flower is beautiful. You're using all these awesome colors and I want to make a card with each of the color combos. Your paper is great, too. You must have been bitten by the card making bug as you're really getting these creations out in recent days. Yea!

Pam gorgeous card and I love the sentiment.
My two favorites for challenges too! Of course I haven't been in one for a while, but that's summer for ya!
PS: Still can't do aqua painters...I always end up with something too wet! Guess I'm a blender pen girl. hugs

Wow! This card is stunning... Your colors work perfectly with your dsp and that big ol' flower adds just the right touch. Thanks for playing along with this week's sketch!

I LOVE watercoloring, and I LOVE blues, so you know this is a goodie in my book! I think watercoloring takes a little practice, but it is supposed to be "loose"---that's the term I always use---so if you go out of the lines, a bit, no big deal! Some people don't like aquapainters either, but I think they're wonderful. Just imagine a whole glass of water mixed with a jar of glitter....that's what happened on my craft table one time! The AP eliminates that! You did an aweomse job and I am so glad you played with us this week for my "wordsmith" challenge!

This is stunning, Pam! I love the colors and I think the watercoloring is fantastic. I love the dimension your watercolored flower has. I think you did a fabulous job.

P.S. When I saw your post pop up in my reader along with the picture, I literally gasped since it is so breathtakingly beautiful! I also love the sentiment too! Such a beautiful one - I think I'm going to have to look at Verve stamps some more... :-)

I think your watercoloring is just fine! I know what you mean about practicing though, as my attempts are all over the map! The flower image looks great with the pretty DSP - like they were made for each other! Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches!
