100% Baby Card

Happy Monday!  Can't believe it is the last week of September.  Just think, Christmas is three months away...wow!  Actually, I would rather chit chat about my card and think about the holidays later.  I was planning on showing this card on Saturday but something wonderful happened and I never got the picture taken until Sunday evening.

On Friday afternoon Bethany calls me and we are having a nice conversation about her grades, college, etc. when she says "I think you need to look out the kitchen window."  OMGosh, she was standing in the driveway with a piece of cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory.  Since she can't see me on my birthday next week, she wanted to surprise me this weekend.  Surprise me she did and it was great!!!  So we spent the weekend together and the camera only took pictures before she left to go back to college.

I made this card on Thursday during our craft day.  My hairdresser is having her first baby, a boy, and this is my first baby card to make.  What do you think?

Stamps:  Animal Crackers, Tags Etc. (not exactly sure what set the tag comes from)

Paper:  Bashful Blue, Apricot Appeal, Mint Melody (very old color) , Confetti White

Ink:  Staz-On Black, Bashful Blue

Accessories:  tag punches, ticket punch, Bashful Blue ribbon, CB embossing folder, eyelet, DMC thread, Prismacolor markers, Crop-a-dile

PPA 55 and MOJO 151

I thought I would try and capture both the Pals Paper Arts color challenge and MOJO's sketch challenge in one card.  My nephew just went off to college so I had him in mind while making my card.  After I started putting the card together, I realized it was going to look to "girly".  So I ended up changing some of the colors and didn't quite capture the sketch challenge either.  Oh well, I had fun creating this card.  What do you think?

Paper:  White, Tempting Turquoise, Real Red, Summer Sun

Ink:  Staz-On Timber Brown (non-SU)

Accessories:  Cuttlebug stars and circles embossing folder, Prisma Markers, Tempting Turquoise marker, dimensionals decorative scissors (non-SU)

I still wanted to use both challenges in one card so I decided to make card number two.  I think I captured everything on this card and added an extra neutral color (really two if you count the white card).  Think it still counts???
