Birthday Basket ...

This was for the Mod Squad Challenge but I missed the cutoff date ... oh well. It was to use teal and purple.  

Stamps:  Holiday Basket, Basket Additions 2, Pretty Patterns, Beyond Baskets (GKD)

Paper:  White, Black, Purple

Ink:  Memento Black, Taken w/Teal (SU); Onyx Black (Versafine)

Accessories:  pearls; Copics; clear embossing powder; brads; embossing folder; Scan N Cut 

I had so much fun making this card.  I used my Scan N Cut to cut out the basket and goodies and also the black mat behind the basket.  The handles on the basket are moveable.  I used the Pretty Patterns stamp set to create my background.

Basket of Fun ...

This project is for the second challenge over at StampTV for the April Guest Designer.  The challenge this week is anything but a flat card.  I made a birthday card that holds a candy bar.

Stamps:  Beyond Baskets, Basket Additions 2, Pretty Patterns (GKD)

Paper:  Early Espresso, Regal Rose, White (SU)

Ink:  Memento Black; Versamark; Regal Rose (SU)

Accessories: Copics; pewter embossing powder, gems (SU); rectangle and scallop dies (Spellbinders)

The size of this card is 7 1/4 x 3 1/2.  I found the directions to make this on scor-pal.com.  The gems are colored with a Copic marker to match the brown cardstock. 

I've been away from stamping and blogging for a bit.  My son is home for spring break.  We actually had a gorgeous day so went and played some golf.  Heading back out to hit the links again tomorrow so really wanted to get this card completed and posted.
