Eagle Scout Card

Here is another card for this week's Freshly Made Sketches.  I loved this sketch!

This card went to my neighbor who achieved the top honor of Eagle Scout.  I even went to You Tube to learn how to tie a knot.  This is a figure eight knot. I picked out a very simple one so I could follow the directions...hehehe.

Stamps:  In Wilderness, Itty Bitty Banners
Paper:  White, Brown (non SU)
DSP:  Paper Studio
Ink:  Memento Black Always Artichoke
Accessories:  Copics, twine, Bitty Banner Framelits, pop dots, Nestabilities Label One, eyelets (non SU)
All supples are Stampin' Up unless otherwise noted.

Thanks for stopping by and as always ...

Have a great day,
Pam~

Wonderful card! I am loving that rustic-looking paper, too...and the knot is perfect!

Pam this is GORGEOUS! Wow and how appropriate for the occassion! I also learned a knot from the internet for a boat card when 'Sail Away" and "Open Sea" were the IN stamps and I NEVER used it! daaahh... Love the burlap BG on this too and the Eagle looks stunning as the focal point.
PS: I guess I missed your last two posts and both are darling. hugs

Super card for the Eagle Scout. The dp is awesome, as well as that image. Good job with that knot...I guess..ha Never tied one of those myself but I'm sure you have it 'just right'.

My youngest son was an Eagle Scout. The oldest one didn't join scouts...other things to do. :-)
